Probably the most interesting Bruichladdich I’ve had, with a Pinot Gris finish, I think that this would have been an amazing dram in the 92-93 tier had it been bottled at a higher ABV perhaps 50%+
A very surprisingly Islay dram but very typical of 1960s Bruichladdich, a delicate and enjoyable fruitbomb! Would definitely have loved it more if there were some smoky notes!
A good sweet fruity Bruichladdich but it does runs a bit hot towards the end & hints of sulphur, good value at ~275eur on sale (for an OB of nearly 30yo from a respectable Islay distillery that’s also Limited Edition)
The finish was disappointing, not what I would expect from a 1960s Bruichladdich
A sweet fruity Bruich that’s surprisingly tame & mellow considering that it’s 51% cask strength
A better than average young Bruichladdich but definitely shows its youth in the spiciness but still decently priced
