Although it's an Islay dram, I feel like the cask is too dominant, resulting in an over-sherried Islay that is more sweet (and bitter/oaky/tannic) than smoky

Nose

The nose starts off meaty & briny but then gets more creamy & vanilla & a bit sweet

Body

Quite sweet, then gets smokier, definitely more meaty, runs a bit hot towards the end

Finish

Long, dry, slightly bitter finish
