Definitely one of the more heavy, industrial smoky Laphroaigs I've had, leaning less towards the sweetness & typical medicinal iodine that the distillery is known for
Nose
Briny salty seasmoke, peppers, the typical Laphroaig medicinal and iodine notes are much more subtle here, towards the end there's a bit of lemon and orchard fruits and a bit of creaminess
Body
Sweet, salty, very briny, lemons, seawater, medicinal, slightly sour, spices, pepper, tobacco, berries, with water it gets much sweeter, elegant, and a bit floral, the smoke becomes very light and subtle
Finish
Long, dry finish, leather, woody, medicinal, gets a bit tarry and tobacco as well
