Not what I expected from an early 1970s Bowmore because it’s from the legendary Kingsbury Celtic label series but for the price it is acceptable for the price of 60 SGD for a 1cl pour

Probably the youngest IB Bowmore I’ve tried, and also very modern, a very modern smoky bose

Probably the oldest vintage Bowmore I’ve had and it’s from the quality Italian IB Sestante, I have very high expectations for 1960s Bowmores, especially considering their high prices (this was 85 SGD for a 10ml half-dram)

The oldest hand-filled Bowmore & not available for retail (which explains why it is running for £800+ in auctions, kinda ridiculous pricing if you ask me) as it was sold during Feis Ile 2026. Very enjoyable modern Bowmore bottled at a very respectable ABV that gives it the much needed extra oomph that most modern OB Bowmore lacks, definitely would be a good daily dram had it not been for the borderline insane price. This bottle makes me curious as to how insane the price of a 30yo hand-filled OB Bowmore would be in a couple of years!

A 14yo Bowmore from the 2010s, that’s definitely my first! Definitely better than I expected from a young whisky
