Fresh fruits, apples, toffee, slightly funky, burnt sugar, towards the end (and with a bit of breathing time) come the slightly bitter & spicy old sherry nose
Surprisingly fresh & fruity for a 45yo whisky, sweet fresh fruits, a hint of dark chocolate & coffee, again the old slightly bitter sherry notes only come towards the end & quite subtle, dates & tobacco
The finish is quite long & fulfilling for a 42,6% whisky, leather, tannic finish

WhiskyNotes describes red apples, berries, plums and raisins, with almonds, cigar-box notes, coffee and cinnamon pastry.
