My first Rare Malt Glenury Royal. Despite being pretty hit or miss due to its high price point & very high ABV, this one certainly did not disappoint
Nose
Beautiful & elegant nose, orchard fruits, apples, oily, slightly sour / zesty, grapefruits, pomelo
Body
A very punchy body, definitely zesty, definitely a dram that needs some water as it adds more sweetness but also some funkiness & makes it less spicy, it is somewhat waxy & herbal, reminding me of old Highland drams, maybe a bit Brora / Clynelish
