An excellent Ardbeg that reminds me of Ardbegs from the 1970s for only a fraction of the price, a lovely dram & beautiful bottle from Elixir Distillers

An excellent Ardbeg that reminds me of Ardbegs from the 1970s for only a fraction of the price, a lovely dram & beautiful bottle from Elixir Distillers

Nose

Definitely an older Ardbeg nose, some gasoline, apple pies

Body

An excellent peat monster that’s also sweet, mineral, slightly salty

Finish

Long smoky & meaty finish, runs a bit hot towards the end
