Nose

Orchard fruits, herbal tea, sweet, quite a fresh nose, slightly tart-like

Body

Very full palate, definitely sweet, zesty, slightly bitter & spicy towards the end, peaches

Finish

Lingering tropical fruits finish, slightly oaky but not bitter; surprisingly there’s a bit of smokiness towards the end which is a very welcoming surprise

Whiskyfun — Banff 1976/2017 Cadenhead 175th Anniversary

Retrieved 05 October 2026

Whiskyfun finds mango, oily-metallic and earthy aromas. The palate mixes abundant fruit with assertive oak spice; water brings herbs, grass and green tea. The finish is long. The reviewer finds the unusual combination coherent, while warning that drinkers may love or hate it.
