Very excited to try this dram considering that it’s the first 197x Glendronach that I have seen from the (mostly highly-rated) dumpy bottle Signatory Vintage line. A solid Glendronach and a very differently experience of Glendronach considering that most OB Glendronachs are darker sherried and drier, definitely willing to try more of the older Glendronachs if they are similar to this!
Nose
A beautiful dried fruits nose, smells surprisingly pretty fresh & orchard despite being from the 1970s
Body
Very sweet but gets slightly spicier and hotter towards the end, definitely orchard fruits, apples, slightly zesty especially with water, some cherries note
Finish
Slightly bitter & dry finish
