This distillery often gets overlooked compared to the more prominent Islay distilleries like Bowmore Laphroaig Lagavulin & Port Ellen but I think they offer really good value for the price and every now & then you can encounter a really good & rare peaty Bunnahabhain such as this one
Nose
Beautiful nose for a 19yo Bunna, peaty and smells more like, fruity, bananas
Body
Definitely packs a punch, a quite youthful punch as expected from a 19yo whisky, still has the typical Bunna fruity & sweet palate, the smoke is still there but dies down towards the end and turns into a slightly more spicy / hot note
Finish
Long dry finish, the smoke lingers, remind me of Caol Ila, slightly soapy
