An excellent beautifully balanced sherry Balvenie, this would easily be a must-buy Speyside staple if it was not insanely expensive for a whisky with no age statement (~700£)

WhiskyNotes describes honey, polished oak and orange aromas, followed by a velvety but drier palate of ginger, pepper, apricot and citrus peel. Water increases the fruitiness; the very long finish adds chocolate and nutmeg. Ruben awarded Tun 1401 Batch 2 91 points.
